The question you may ask is how could this man Elijah be anointed publically power-ful and be depress all at the same time? How could you get the promotion, finish school, get the house you prayed for and end up in state of depression? It doesn’t matter how many cars you own, how many zeros on your check stub that does not exempt you from depression. 

 

The Great Pop Star Michael Jackson spent millions or billions of dollars for a house he couldn't sleep in. So MONEY is not it. I think its worst when we as Christians experience depression because we feel obligated to hide how we feel because we don’t want to make God look bad. We hide our hurt with a smile instead of being honest with ourselves.

 

Jezebel threaten Elijah her words had power she planted something in his head and it turned his whole world upside down and cause him to slip into a state of depression. So I want to ask you are you living in a threat? For example, you’re not gone be nothing, you gone be stupid just like your father, you can't start that business… The pressure wasn’t so much Jezebel it’s how Elijah thought about what she said. The fight is over your mind because whatever goes on in your head that is your reality. The bible says, for whatsoever a man thinketh so is he….

 

You can master any situation if you can master yourself. Your greatest sexual organ is in between your ears. You can think yourself happy, sad, in or out. So ask God to fix your perception. Because sometimes what we think could be the end could just be the end of that level. How could we appreciate the mountain if we never had a valley experience? Don’t lose it now because you’re too close to your destiny… Lord Fix my perception….STOP AND BE HEALED.
