John 8:6-7 KJV
6 This they said, tempting him that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.
7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
The religion scholars and Pharisees brought this woman to Jesus as if they were perfect people. They were so quick to past judgment on her when they had skeletons in their closet themselves. So Jesus tells them if you have never committed a sin throw the stone at her. After hearing that, they walked away, one after another beginning with the oldest.
So I want to ask you, are always passing judgment on someone else, always in someone else’s business, or never have anything good to say about nobody. You feel as though you’re always right and since you can’t manipulate the entire world into fitting into your perception of life. Your perception of them not acting right is them not acting like you.
Michael Jackson famous hit Start with the”Man in the Mirror” we need to start looking at ourselves instead of other people or situation because sometimes our biggest battle is more within than without.
In Matthews 7:1 as it is written Judge not that ye be not judged. Salvation is God giving us a chance to start over again. Jesus told the woman to go and sin no more. Our word for this week “Man in the Mirror”.
