Over in Matthews 14, Jesus rebuked Peter for having little Faith because Peter got his eyes off Jesus and on to the negative circumstances around him. This caused him to start sinking. He was so close to Jesus, yet he began sinking! Jesus reached out and took him by the hand and said, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?”

 

They then both walked together on the water back to the boat. Peter was sinking in something that he should’ve been walking on.

 

So I want to ask you are you sinking in something that you should’ve been walking on? Are you letting people push your button? Are you stooping to negative people's level which can cause you to get distracted? Are you focusing more on the fight instead of the solution?

 

Now I understand why in firearms training they instruct you to never pick anything up off the floor because you can get distracted. My brothers and sisters in Christ we must “Focus on the front site” which is JESUS. Stop!!!! letting people and negative situation get the best of YOU. No weapon that is formed against us can prosper.
